YOU WILL DESTROY THEM ALL

They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

Dear Believer,

When you feel surrounded by challenges, what comes to your mind?

Here’s David seeing himself surrounded by multitudes of enemies who were so many that he could only liken them to a swarm of bees. The natural thing to do was panic, but David took the supernatural route.

“Can you see all these troubles around you, David? Can you see these well armed enemies inching closer to you on every side?” someone may ask.

“Yes I do, but in the name of the Lord, they will soon be history!”

You see, Believer, your first reaction to troubles is very important as it sets the tone and direction for what follows. When you receive any news that doesn’t sound good, or you see some troubles threatening you in any way, what you say at that instant will determine whether you will have the victory or not.

David refused to allow his sight to rule him. The enemies were there, but he declared that in the name of the Lord, he would destroy them.

If David, a man who operated in the Old Testament could take the name of the Lord against the opposition forces and overcame them, how much more should you, a Believer to whom has been given the greatest Name be bold.

Philippians 2:9-10 KJV 9
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.

Some put so much faith in their problems that the name of Jesus becomes ineffective in their life. Let all your faith be in the greatest Name, and as you make your declarations in that Name, the victory comes.

Yes, they may surround you, but they will be quenched like the fire of thorns, for in the name of the Lord you are destroying them.
