WHY THE DEVIL FIGHTS THE RESURRECTION
It is important to the religions of the world that the Resurrection be discredited and denied. That is one of the greatest works of the devil.

And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; you are yet in your sins.
Dear Believer,
The Resurrection is central to our faith. No one can be saved if they don’t believe in the Resurrection. (Romans 10:9).
That is why the devil has kept attacking the concept of the Resurrection. He has been doing this through the religions of the world.
Before Jesus died and resurrected, there was a very influential religious group called the Sadducees. They taught people that there was no resurrection or angels or spirits. (Acts 23:8).
In the present day, the Jehovah’s Witness group teaches that Jesus did not resurrect bodilly. They claim that He only resurrected ‘in the spirit.’ the claim that His body was taken away by God.
To many who sincerely think that Islam’s god and Christianity’s God are one and the same, let me share with you what the quran teaches on the death and the Resurrection of Jesus:
“And for saying, ‘We killed (the Messiah) Jesus, son of Mary,’ the messenger of GOD. They never killed him, they never crucified him – they were made to think they did. All factions are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him. Instead, God raised him to Him; GOD is Almighty, most wise.” (Surah 4:157-8).
Jesus was merely a messenger of God in Islam. It denies Jesus was crucified. It emphatically states, “They never killed him.”
You see, it is important to the religions of the world that the Resurrection be discredited and denied. That is one of the greatest works of the devil. If he could get people to reject the concept of the Resurrection, they can’t have faith to be saved. (Romans 20:9).
If the Resurrection is a myth, then the whole concept of Christianity is nonsense.

And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
Can you see clearly why the devil works so hard to discredit the Resurrection?
Today, the devil has inspired so many ‘scholars’ to fight against the basic biblical beliefs in Christianity. Some of these ‘scholars’ are theologians. They know all the books but have no Holy Spirit in them.
Christ Jesus died and rose from the dead. The unbelief of scholars and modern day Sadducees doesn’t change the truth.
This is another time to deepen your faith in the power of the Resurrection. Jesus rose from the dead, and you will rise, too.
Tell the world that He rose. Tell them that they don’t need to perish. He has secured everyone’s eternal salvation through His death and His resurrection. Tell them to receive Him and be saved.
