THERE ARE TREASURES FOR YOU TO FIND
If you get to a point where you are trying to find something, understand that the Holy Spirit is a Revealer of secrets.
Proverbs 25:2 NET
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, and it is the glory of a king to search out a matter.
Dear Believer,
We’ve all had to look around for something. It could be a precious object, or an important document. During the process of searching, the feeling is usually that of concern, and maybe anxiety. Then when that thing is found, a feeling of relief follows.
In Luke 15:4-6 we see a shepherd who lost one of his one hundred sheep. He left the ninety-nine in a safe place and looked for the lost one until he found it. Then he threw a party to celebrate.
If you get to a point where you are trying to find something, understand that the Holy Spirit is a Revealer of secrets.
For instance, the Bible tells us, “Whoever finds a wife finds what is good, and receives favor from the LORD.” (Proverbs 18:22). So, finding a God-ordained spouse is a great blessing.
This applies to many other things in a Believer’s life.
Many times, things won’t just fall on a person’s lap without any efforts. Jesus said, “Seek and you shall find.” (Matthew 7:7). So, in life, you don’t always wait for good things to manifest in your life; you go get them.
Our Bible passage today tells us that it is the glory of God to conceal a matter, and it is the glory of kings to search it out.
It has been wisely said that God doesn’t hide things FROM US, He hides them FOR US.
The Word of God contains treasures. Only seekers find. If you don’t care to look for the deep treasures, you may be impoverished. Our faith isn’t for lazy people.
Hear what Jeremiah said:
Jeremiah 15:16 WEB
Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by your name, Yahweh, God of Armies.
He found the Words because he searched for them. After he found them, he ate them. If he hadn’t searched, he wouldn’t have found, and if he didn’t find, he couldn’t have eaten them, and if he didn’t eat, he would have lived in spiritual hunger. He would be an ignorant prophet mouthing nonsense to his hearers.
The secret things belong to God, but He delights in revealing them to us. (Deuteronomy 29:29).
However, no Believer gets the best from God if they don’t maximize their partnership with the Holy Spirit. Don’t go on a search all by yourself. Read the following carefully.
1Corinthians 2:9-10 KJV
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Whatever is revealed to us is revealed by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches the deep things of God.
This applies to every aspect of your life.
There are treasures for you; go for them.
Begin the exciting adventure with the Holy Spirit. There are answers to your questions. There are treasures waiting for you to find them.
Have a beautiful day.
Your friend,
Deon.
