THE SPIRIT IN EVERYTHING!

THE SPIRIT IN EVERYTHING!

There’s no aspect of your life that He isn’t interested in. A Believer can only excuse the Holy Spirit from any aspect of his life to his own detriment.

Dear Believer,

Have you noticed the way in which many Believers separate issues and things? They call some natural and others spiritual.

When there’s a misunderstanding between a husband and a wife , the husband might say things like, “Look, Janet, let us leave the spiritual out of this matter; this is purely you doing this!”

The wife might say, “Leave the Bible and Jesus out of this and let’s deal with it as intelligent people!”

Whether it is in business, education or finances, some Believers may say, “This is not about prayer or God; let’s deal with it with our brains!”

Friend, you have to be careful and not speak like an unwise Believer. Look, if we are to deal with our challenges and issues just like the world’s people do, why then are we believers?

Why then do we have the Holy Spirit?

When Jesus was about to leave Earth, He promised to send the Holy Spirit. Here’s the way He put it:

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you. (John 14:16-17 Amplified Bible)

You can see all that the Holy Spirit can be to you!

When a believer utters statements like, “This is not about the spiritual “or “Lets leave God out of this,” it shows that they don’t yet know Who the Holy Spirit is.

There’s no aspect of your life that He isn’t interested in. A Believer can only excuse the Holy Spirit from any aspect of his life to his own detriment.

He is interested in how you raise your child. He can help you to manage your finances. He wants to help you to pray correctly. He wants to guide you into relationships.

When a believer utters statements like, “This is not about the spiritual “or “Lets leave God out of this,” it shows that they don’t yet know Who the Holy Spirit is.

The Holy Spirit is given so that He may be a Helper in ALL circumstances. We read that “The Spirit helps our weaknesses.” Humanly speaking, which Believer doesn’t have weaknesses?

One of the roles the Holy Spirit plays in our lives is that of an illuminator. When things become confusing and there’s no clarity, He lightens our heart and guides us. He is also a Strengthener who strengthens us for our tasks and responsibilities. He supplies wisdom to make the right choices.

The Spirit of God can be a lot of things to us, but we must understand that He can only be to us what or who we let Him.

Some believer only allow Him to help them to have good health but excuse Him in matters concerning their marriage. Some let Him help them to preach but don’t let Him help them to live a holy life, so they are good preachers but struggle endlessly with sins.

Note this, dear Believer, the Holy Spirit is an ever present Person and ALL the help you will ever need is given by God through the Holy Spirit. He is the One who can even stir up people to give you the necessary assistance.

David gave a powerful description of the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit and His ability to help the Believer:

Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are here. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me. Psalm. 139-11.

Why ignore Him when you are designed not to live without Him?

Start to strengthen your relationship with the Holy Spirit today.

Many Believers gradually ignore the Spirit and abandon the help He provides because they are more conscious of the physical realm than the spiritual. When you start exercising your heart on the things of the Spirit, you will develop a greater sensitivity to the Spirit of God.

Let us pray together now:

Father God, I thank You for giving to me the Holy Spirit to abide with me and be in me always. Today I received all the Help You have for me through the Holy Spirit. I receive help for all my weaknesses. Teach me Lord to receive the Help of the Holy Spirit always in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Good day to you!

Your friend,
Deon.
