THE SHOUT OF FAITH BRINGS DOWN THE WALL
Do not be intimidated by whatever challenge you meet on your way as God leads you. You are right there because God has a solution.
Joshua 6:20 MLV
…The people shouted with a great shout and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him and they took the city.
Dear Believer,
When God’s people were faced with the walls of Jericho, nothing had prepared them for the experience. They had nothing to help them at all.
Then God gave them certain instructions.
Simply put, they were to walk around the city once in six days, and on the seventh day they were to walk around it seven times.
This was silly from human perspective. But you haven’t heard the silliest thing yet.
After this they were to blow their trumpets and then shout. They were to shout as though they’d already defeated the enemy and taken Jericho.
Who shouts before a two-meter thick wall? And can you imagine a whole army of people shouting at a wall?
But it worked! The wall heaved and shifted and fell down flat.
You see, God knows how to do His thing. It gives me a beautiful feeling that whenever I’m standing before a ‘wall’ that seems impenetrable, God has the solution even if I don’t. And He is so generous that He will tell me what to do.
Israel listened to the instructions from Jehovah. They shouted as if they’d already won that battle. And the wall fell.
Anyone can shout after the wall of trouble has collapsed. That doesn’t require any faith at all. Shouting when the wall is staring you in the face — when the mountain seems to be looming larger and larger — that is faith.
Do not be intimidated by whatever challenge you meet on your way as God leads you. You are right there because God has a solution.
Whatever happens, don’t be dumb before that wall. Don’t be silent before your mountain.
Mark 11:23 KJV
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Again I say, don’t be silent before your mountain. Speak unto that mountain. Tell it to move. And you shall have what you say.
Have a great day.
