THE GOD OF ANSWERS

THE GOD OF ANSWERS

God isn’t a wicked father. He wants to give you answers to your questions and help you solve your life puzzles.

Psalm 25:14

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Dear Believer,

One of the highlights of being a parent is having your children grow to the age at which they start asking questions.

One thing I promised myself when my children were growing up was that I would never shut them up whenever they were asking questions.

And they really tasked me on that!

I made sure I patiently explained to them what I knew about their questions. If I felt they weren’t old enough to understand the answer, I either simplified it or promised to answer them properly when they were a little older.

Curiosity in a child is a very healthy way to develop the intellect.

Another thing I discovered was that a child who asks questions and a parent who answers them usually have a good relationship. Parents who shut their kids up, calling their questions stupid, or saying they ask too much questions usually find that their children grow away from them.

I’m only a man, but your heavenly Father is infinitely better than that.

Believer, you have a Father who has answers to your questions. You serve a God of answers.

Our fathers in the faith since ages past have asked God questions. Abraham, Jeremiah, Isaiah, David and even New Testament writers like Paul asked God questions. God didn’t tell them to stop it. He answered them.

Have you ever been able to find a single time Jesus refused to answer the questions of his disciples, no matter how ridiculous they sounded? On a number of occasions, He ignored the questions of hypocritical people or responded with His own question, but generally, He answered His own people’s questions.

God isn’t a wicked father. He wants to give you answers to your questions and help you solve your life puzzles.

He said:

Jeremiah 33:3 KJV

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

God is a revealer of secrets.

Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

The Holy Spirit that has been given to you is a Spirit of answers. The Word of God is full of answers. When you prayerfully settle down with it, light will penetrate the darkness and the hidden things will be brought to light

You can ask God to show you the things that you don’t know which have to do with your life, ministry, home, future and so on. You can patiently wait for the answer, and I tell you, it will come.

When you seem confused and you don’t know what to do; when you want answers to questions of life or spiritual things, call until God and ask questions. He is the God of answers.

Have a blessed day.

Your friend,

Deon.
