REVISITING THE ‘WILL OF GOD.’

REVISITING THE ‘WILL OF GOD.’

You shouldn’t settle for less than the Word of God says. You shouldn’t stop the fight of faith just because you find some relief.

Dear Believer,

Genesis 1:25 KJV
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

During the process of Creation, God didn’t do a shoddy work after creating each part, He would look over again and see the quality of what He’d done.

We read in Genesis chapter 1 again and again, “And God saw that it was good.”

God wouldn’t take anything less than that.

When He said “Let there be light,” He had a vision. He didn’t just move on after there was light. He looked to see if the light was just as He commanded, or not.

This is a lesson to Believers. It is good to apply the Word of God to situations, but after that, insist on the best result.

Your health is an example. You shouldn’t settle for less than the Word of God says. You shouldn’t stop the fight of faith just because you find some relief. You should keep on believing for the very best God has for you.

This applies to everything that concerns you. Understand that there are forces that will always try to contest the will of God in your life. It is your responsibility to resist them whenever they show up and enforce God’s will.

In a remarkable example, Jesus ministered to a blind man. After putting his hand on the blind man to transfer the healing power, Jesus asked him if he could see. Here’s what happened.

Mark 8:24-25.
And the blind man looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that Jesus put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

I like the way the blind man responded. He could have reasoned, “I’ve been blind most of my life. If I can see at all, even if unclearly, that should satisfy.”

He could have answered Jesus, “Yes, I can see.” But he made it clear his sight wasn’t the best yet.

And on the part of Jesus, He didn’t pray for the blind man so that he could see men as trees. If He’d let the man go like that, he wouldn’t know the difference between people and trees. Jesus touched him again until his sight was really good.

Today, I pray for you that the will and the work of the Lord will be perfected in your life.

Good day to you!

Your friend,
Deon.
