“OH, WHAT A BORING RELIGION!”
Many who are truly born again are dull and lack zest. They are religiously and laboriously trying to keep a set of rules of do’s and don’ts. That is what happens when you take Christianity to be a religion.

This is what many think of Christianity — that it’s a boring religion!
Many who are truly born again are dull and lack zest. They are religiously and laboriously trying to keep a set of rules of do’s and don’ts. That is what happens when you take Christianity to be a religion.
When I first came to Christ, the few years were so boring and laborious for me. I fell, rose, fell, rose, stumbled and lived a generally carnal life. Why? Because I got religion!
And if your own Christianity is a religion, it will indeed be boring.
If you got religion, you’ve got problems to deal with, and it is difficult! I wallowed in ignorance for a few years before I received light.
You don’t need to be through all this.
This way of life is not a mechanical system of regimented living; it is the power of God!
Romans 1:16.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for IT IS THE POWER OF GOD unto salvation to EVERY ONE that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
And to every tribe and tongue you may think of.
Christianity, or the Gospel package, is neither boring nor a religion. It is God’s power to save, heal, set free, bless, increase, empower and what not! When I began to realize this, my life changed. Whereas I had been under oppression of the devil before, I assumed my rightful position over evil forces. Nightmare ended. Fear stopped. I became conscious of power. I spoke to demons and they obeyed me. I cast demons out with a word. I became a blessing to my world.
You got the ‘Christian religion?’ Bless your soul, but there is something better. The Gospel is the power of God for all times. If you are born again, you have power over sin, sickness, demons and every evil thing because what came into you made you bigger than them all.
Do not live in ignorance. Arise to your responsibility.
Talk to your Father:
Dear Father in heave, I realize that you have called me into a world of power. I do not have a dead religion; I have the power of Christ. The Gospel is unto me power and salvation. I am bigger that the devil’s forces because I have Jesus in me. Lord grant me perfect wisdom and understanding to walk in your power because I am your representative, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
