LOCATED TO FLOURISH
From many scriptural references, we can easily see something important: IT MATTERS WHERE A BELIEVER IS ‘PLANTED.’
Psalm 1:3 KJ2000
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
Dear Believer,
Human beings are likened to plants in the scriptures. For example, Psalm 92:12 likens the righteous man to the flourishing palm tree.
The man who doesn’t trust God but puts his trust in man is likened to a solitary shrub in the desert. We read that he won’t even see good when it comes to him and will always stay thirsty of good things. (Jeremiah 17:5-6). On the other hand, the man who trusts in the Lord shall be like a tree planted by the river, always fresh and healthy. (Psalm 17:7-8).
From these scriptural references and more, we can easily see something important: IT MATTERS WHERE A TREE IS PLANTED.
There are different types of trees. Some will never thrive in certain climates. That is one of the reasons we have botanists. They understand the nature and geographical distribution of plants, among other things.
God wants each Believer to be at a certain place. Biblically, places have a direct bearing on your destiny. God told Abram to leave Ur of the Chaldees. (Genesis 12:1). If he had refused to leave, he never would have fulfilled his destiny. Lot, Abraham’s nephew, decided to stay in the wrong place called Sodom. It didn’t end well for him. (Genesis 13:12).
God decided where the Believer lives, works and worships. A Believer who trusts in himself and decides how he will run his life will never thrive as he should.
There is a divinely appointed for your business. That is where it can grow. You need to understand that and pray to be divinely located.
You can only flourish where God plants you. If you decide to move where you aren’t planted, there will be no nourishment for you.
Again, here’s the scripture about the man who trusts the Lord to lead him:

Father, I thank you because you know the best for me. Today, I ask that you help me to be divinely located in the right place as it concerns all aspects of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen.
