LIFT UP YOUR LIMBS AND YOUR LIFE!
You see, if you want something miraculous to happen in your life, get ready to do something you have not been able to do.
Hebrews 12:12 LOGOS
Therefore strengthen the hands which are weakened, and the feeble knees.
Dear Believer,
If you studied the miracles Jesus performed on the sick, you would notice that after ministering to them, He would tell them to do something.
To the man with the withered hand He said, ‘Stretch out your hand.” (Mathew 12:9-13)
To the man totally paralized for 38 years He said, “Take up your pallet, and walk.” (John 5:1-14).
To the ten lepers He said, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” (Luke 17:12-16).
(Be sure to read all these passages).
You see, if you want something miraculous to happen in your life, get ready to do something you have not been able to do.
Jesus didn’t trade in self pity. It would sound heartless to most people when He told someone who had been bedfast for decades to get up and walk.
The paralized man in John chapter 5 started telling him a sob story. “I’ve been there for so long, abandoned by friends and family. I have no man to roll me into the healing pool.”
All He got from Jesus was, “Take up your pallet and walk!”
Instead of rolling up his pallet, he could have rolled his eyes at the young man telling him to do the impossible. “Didn’t you hear what I said? Are you blind? I sleep here, mess up myself here on this spot and have not bathed for years. Can’t even lift a finger. You must be crazy, young man, to tell me to get up. Shouldn’t you be pitying me?”
But he did get up.
The man with the withered hand could have told Jesus, “Who stretches out a hand that has dried up for years? Man, just leave me alone if you can’t help me with some cash.”
But he did stretch out the hand.
The lepers could have wondered why they had to go to the priests in the temple with their leprosy. Priests were only to examine those who were healed, and here they were with sores and scabs all over their bodies. Who would let them come near the temple grounds…
But they went, and were healed on the way.
Hebrews 12:12 says “Lift up the paralized hands and feet.” God’s power is present. Respond by an action of faith.
Your body, your business, your life can all be lifted up. You can be healed.
Self pity will get you nothing but more self pity. Rise up to pray and claim the Word of God for your situation, then RISE UP AND WALK.”
Have a pleasant day!
