HE WILL SURELY DELIVER YOU

Psalm 91:3 KJV 

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Dear Believer,

This is an emphatic statement. God delivers His own people from the traps of bird catchers.

The ‘fowlers’ are those who hunt for birds. They set traps. The birds walk or fly into the traps without knowing that danger is there.

Because God sees both the trappers and their traps, He guides His own children away from them.

God also delivered from ‘noisome pestilence.’ This is a plague — a pandemic or an epidemic that spreads over the land infecting people.

You will notice that neither of these troubles are within your ability to control. You don’t know who is planning to entrap you. You don’t know who can infect you with a disease. You may do all you can to avoid some infections, but you have no power over some people who don’t care or are ignorant.

That is why you must take up the promises of God and put all your trust in Him.

People speak about professing Believers who died or fell sick. “If God protects people, why did He allow these ones to get sick and die?’ they say.

If you want to have peace about matters like this, just stick to what you know. Stick to what God has said in His Word. Nothing is perfect in this world, but you can count on God and His Word. Since you don’t know why some things happened to certain people, just leave it to God. Since you know that the Word says, “Surely, He will deliver you,” stick to that promise.

Secret things belong to God. Whatever He has revealed to you is yours. (Deuteronomy 29:29). Faith trusts God and takes Him at His Word. No one is your Bible. Read and Believe the Word of God and not human beings.

At this time of widespread fear, the Word of God says:

Psalms 91:5-6 NET
You need not fear the terrors of the night, the arrow that flies by day, the plague that comes in the darkness, or the disease that comes at noon.

Do you believe this is speaking to you? Then act and live like it. Do not let fear reduce the quality of your life. If God says He will protect you, He is more than capable to do so.

Trust Him. Believe Him.

SPEAK TO THE FATHER
Lord God Almighty, thank You for the provision of divine protection for me and my home. I believe there is no evil that shall befall me. I stand in Your Word and I inhabit Your name. SURELY I shall never fall into the traps of bird catchers in the name of Jesus. No plague shall touch me in the name of Jesus. Amen.
