FAITH IS A VISIBLE FORCE
Faith is a visible force to the spiritual person. God sees faith, and if we are sensitive enough in the Spirit, we will see faith, too.
Mark 2:5 KJV
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Dear Believer,
God doesn’t fail. Much of the troubles and failure we experience as believers aren’t due to the power of the devil, but to the unbelief of the Believer.
Yes, there are many unbelieving Believers. The disciples of Jesus once failed to cast out a demon from a boy. When they asked Jesus why, He simply answered them, “Because of your unbelief.’
Before Jesus answered them, they must have thought it was because that demon was very powerful. But it happened that the failure wasn’t on account of the demon, but on account of their lack of faith.
In the scripture focus today, some men took some dramatic steps to bring their paralized friend to Jesus for healing. Note that Jesus saw their faith. When He saw their faith, He acted and then the process of healing was underway.
Faith is a visible force to the spiritual person. God sees faith, and if we are sensitive enough in the Spirit, we will see faith, too.
Paul was once preaching to a crowd. At some point he saw faith in a lame man.
Acts 14:8-10 KJV
And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
Paul perceived that he had faith. The word ‘perceived’ is eido in Greek. It means to perceive with the eyes, to discern, to ascertain, to observe…
Many versions put it this way, “Paul saw that he had faith to be healed.” This lame man’s faith was strong enough to be seen.
Eido is the same word used in Mark 2:5 where Jesus ‘saw’ their faith.
God responds to faith. Unbelief in an insult to God. It says God can’t be trusted. Faith is the greatest form of honor you can give to God. It is a simple trust that doesn’t see any alternative anywhere or in anyone else.
When He sees that, the Holy Spirit gets to work.
Dear friend, when you see the promises of God in the Word of God, just embrace it and don’t entertain any doubt. God doesn’t say what He doesn’t mean.
Don’t try to believe, just do! You are called a Believer for a reason. Wondering how God will fulfil His promises isn’t your business. If you trust Him enough to do what He said he would do, and believe Him that He has done what He said He has done, the manifestation is just a matter of time, even if not immediately.
SPEAK TO THE FATHER:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word that has been forever settled in heaven. I commit myself to your eternal Word. I Believe, and I will not doubt in my heart. I walk in all blessings that You have give to.me according to Your Word in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Have a great day.
Your friend,
Deon
