DIVINE INFORMATION: THE NEWS THAT MATTERS

I will stand upon my watch, and mount upon the rock, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Dear Believer,

The world’s news media is the most important source of information to most people. What Believers need to know, however, is that we have another source of information. Heaven has something to say about what is going on. There is news about the news.

If all a Believer depends on for information is the news media of this world, he will be deceived at some point. Each media house puts their own spin on the news they report to favor their political or even religious leanings. Each of them has an agenda they are espousing. Many times, they aren’t reporting the truth; they are reporting their truth. Even social media platforms are regulating what can be posted on them. Sometimes they remove political or religious information that isn’t in support of their own beliefs.

In the book of Habakkuk, we see the prophet start by making a lamentation about what was going on in the land. That was the news.

In chapter two, the prophet said he would wait on His to hear what He wanted to say to Him about what was going on. That was the news about the news. That was heaven’s perspective of the matter.

Too many times the Believer gets carried away by the news as reported by the media of the world. What we should be concerned about is, what is God saying?

God has a word for us about the happenings. There is so much He has already said in His Word about this time. Also, there is so much He has to say today. The Holy Spirit has for us the information that we need for these perilous times. The news out there isn’t enough; we need the news from ‘up there.’

Let every Believer learn to ask God for divine information. Let us learn to pray corporately and individually for heaven’s perspective about the goings-on in our world.

When we call unto Him, He has answers for us.

Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.

The world’s media may lie to us and manipulate information to control people’s thoughts. They may present mere propaganda as genuine news. They may turn one group against the other by spicing the truth and twisting information.

This is true of the world’s media and any report coming from any source. Better to believe the report of the Lord.

God does not do that. When we learn to stay with His Holy Spirit to listen to what’s really going on, we won’t be deceived

SPEAK TO YOUR FATHER.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit of truth Who does not lie to the Believer. I walk in the grace to always receive information from heaven and not be deceived by the news from this world. Help me to separate the false from the fake. Help me to see through deception and manipulation. Let my spirit understand your will and clearly hear your voice in the name of Jesus. Amen.
