DELIVERANCE BY PROTECTION

Psalm 34:7 KJV
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Dear Believer,

When we speak about deliverance, what comes to many people’s mind is the process of casting out a devil, or God getting someone out of trouble that they’ve already fallen into.

Well, the biggest deliverance is the protection God gives you which prevents evil from touching you in the first place.

That is deliverance by protection.

The angel of the Lord, or the Lord Himself, looks out for His people. Your faith in the Word of God and His provision of protection puts your mind at total rest.

On your own, you can’t do much to ward of evil. With God, evil becomes weak around you.

You have to see this with the eyes of faith. The angel of the Lord surrounds. That means on every side, in every direction, you are defended.

When the Syrian war machine came looking for prophet Elishah, his servant saw the chariots and the multitude of murderous soldiers who came for his master. ‘We are finished,’ he said.

The prophet allayed the servant’s fears. There was something the servant wasn’t seeing. The prophet prayed for his spiritual eyes to be opened, and then he saw how everywhere was covered and surrounded the prophet to effect protection against the enemy. (Be sure to read 2 Kings 6:8-17).

When you read the Word and pray, let the Spirit show you the power at work within you and the presence of God’s angels around you.

Do not join the world to panic. The God you serve is real. Live by faith and thank Him for the provision He has made to protect you.

Take some time this morning to thank Him for His angels and this special grace of deliverance from evil.
