BELIEVERS ARE MIRACLE PEOPLE

Luke 1:37 KJV
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Dear Believer,

There is a reason the Word of God calls you a Believer. You believe. You live above doubt. You do not vacillate and aren’t knocked here and there by every wave of opinion.

The world has gone crazy against what you Believe. Some words get the ungodly ones triggered. They leave whatever they are doing and start attacking you. Some of these words are ‘church,’ ‘pastor,’ ‘bible,’ ‘worship,’ ‘evangelism,’ ‘holiness’… And ‘miracles!’

Yes, miracles.

They scoff and mock whenever we speak of what God can do. The attack on the Word of God and the supernatural manifestation of God’s power has so much deepened that many Believers are intimidated.

You shouldn’t be!

You see, it is only natural that those who haven’t met God doubt His existence. Even some who have met Him can explain their experience away in their backslidden state. The unbelieving world is in spiritual darkness.

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing, among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

So when a child of the world is mocking the things of God, understand that He has been blinded. He can’t see the light. He is actually ‘making nonsense out of sense.’

For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Miracles are a stupid concept to the mind of the unsaved. How can a virgin become pregnant? How can the blood drained from a single person be the means of salvation to the whole world? How did an old man raise a stick before a vast body of water and the sea parted before him?

And more personally, how about that miracle you want to see manifested in your life?

Even a Believer who is unguarded can be swayed. I have prayed for people who got healed instantly. You see, I was the one who prayed, and yet when some of these people got healed and started rejoicing, my natural mind began to look for reasons to question them. I have asked some of those who got healed foolish questions like, “Are you really sure?” “Is the pain really gone?”

You could ask what was I expecting when I prayed? Well, that is how even a Believer can be infuenced by his natural senses if he isn’t watchful.

Don’t let the words spoken by the world steal away your faith. You serve a God of miracles. And as far as the supernatural is concerned, it is God’s Word against the world’s word. You have to choose the one you will live by. And as a Believer, you can only live by the Word of God.

Tell yourself: miracles are real because God is real. Within the realm of man, if there are no miracles, the idea of a God is foolishness. But you have a God Who does miracles. Don’t ever let anything steal that truth from you.
