There are all kinds of strange beliefs today that have foundation in the scripture, which many are teaching and believing as the gospel. For instance, there are so-called Christians who deny the divinity of Jesus. Some deny the bodily resurrection of Jesus. Some deny the power in the blood of Jesus. Some believe that Jesus is just one of the ways to God, and that other forces or religious leaders lead to God just as Jesus does. Yet others believe that the Bible is just an old story with some moral instructions, many of which are outmoded

SOW MERCY, SEE MERCY

God’s own throne is the seat of mercy, and when we draw near that throne, we are encouraged to come boldly to that we may ‘obtain mercy and find help in time of need.’ (Hebrews 4:16). However, not everyone who reaches out for mercy finds it. One of the reasons for that is because they don’t show mercy to others who are in need, therefore they are denied mercy in their own time of need.

The ‘fowlers’ are those who hunt for birds. They set traps. The birds walk or fly into the traps without knowing that danger is there.
Because God sees both the trappers and their traps, He guides His own children away from them.
