ANGELIC PROTECTION FOR YOU
This message is important at this time when insecurity is becoming a very present force in many places. We must recognize, acknowledge, appreciate and appropriate the ministry of angels.
Psalm 34:7 KJV
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Dear Believer,
Angels aren’t a myth. The pictures some religious organizations use to depict angels are of babies with tiny wings flying around. Those may be cupid, the mythical matchmaker, but never the angels the Bible describes.
Some depict angels as effeminate men dressed in gowns and holding a trumpet or a sword, generally looking weak.
God’s warrior angels are unbelievably strong.
Psalm 103:20 KJV
Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
They excel in strength. In one instance, an angel destroyed 185,000 assyrian soldiers in a single night.
Our focus passage says the angel of the Lord surrounds those who fear Him. Notice ‘angel’ is in its singular form.
The sum of it all is that you are entitled to angelic protection. As a Believer, you can boldly claim and walk in the promise of divine protection.
Psalm 91:11 KJV
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
In Psalm 91:4 we read, “He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust…” ‘Feathers’ and ‘wings’ are allusions to angels.
This message is important at this time when insecurity is becoming a very present force in many places. We must recognize, acknowledge, appreciate and appropriate the ministry of angels.
You have to pray to the Lord about this. Don’t go about commanding angels as some people do. Believers don’t have such authority. Hebrews 1:14 says they were sent to minister FOR us. They aren’t our servants; they receive instructions from God to minister for our sakes.
So when you ask the Lord for angelic protection, He gets His angels working.
You can also clearly see from Psalm 103:20 that angels only hearken to the voice of God’s word. You will have to fill your heart with God’s word so when you speak the scripture, they go and do according to it. Words and acts of unbelief will not get God’s angels to help.
Maximize the ministry of angels by specifically asking the Father for it.
You shall have testimonies.
